Did all of you hear that there is an election coming up? Of course, I'm only kidding... I actually took two "Which-Candidate-Should-I Vote-For" quizzes on Thursday. I did so because:
#1. I don't watch a lot of television, and therefore could care less about which candidate said something about the other one's mother.
#2. I don't belong to one of those social clubs you all like to refer to as political parties.
Here are the results of my quizes... I post them here not because I want to discuss politics, but instead to express my surprise at just how much Barrack and I seem to share the same ideas. I am surprised at this because I utterly loathe the Democratic Party (and Republican Party too, for that matter)...

On Friday, my lovely (and ghoulish) fiance and I baked apple pie and passed out candy to the North Cambridge vampires and zombies. We did so with an upstairs 13 year-old neighbor. Toward the end of the evening, we had the pleasure of being interviewed by the folks from CCTV (our community television station in Cambridge). I thought it couldn't hurt to offer them a beer (as we had candy for the kids, we had beer and water for the parents)... They proceeded to tell us that they would "take one for the road" so that they could drink it later when they were "smoking weed." As I was glaring at this confused (and apparently unemployed Theater Dept. graduate) I motioned for them to stop talking... I later apologized to our middle-school aged neighbor.
*I swear people are retarded. First of all- if you smoke pot- you need to grow up. Second of all- if you do- conceal your ignorance to the privacy of your own home... Don't talk about it in front of under-aged strangers. Here is the video of us from CCTV (I don't know whether or not they actually had to cut the audio out of it, or whether they had technical difficulties).
On Saturday we didn't rest... we ran- 11 miles... It was hard, and it wasn't pretty... but it is finished. It was the longest run I've ever done, and the only thing that got me through it was the fact that I have to run two miles longer next week. I told myself to "suck it up"... and I did... but just barely. Here is the route we took... We ended again at Starbucks... my Starbucks, on Elm St...

Three quick ending points:
1. To the Blockbuster Video lady- M. Night Shyamalan isn't "Middle Eastern"... He is Indian. And Lady in the Water was a good movie.

2. To the Singing Goat lady- Yes of course we want to see your singing goat (she approached us after our run). And a side note to you... Your English accent might be the only thing keeping you out of the loony bin...
3. Abby's Marathon Fund- Please contribute to my special lady's charity. The link is to the right...
